Impact Awards
The Auto Care Association Impact Award: 4 Under 40 award annually recognizes four people under the age of 40 who have made remarkable contributions within the auto care industry. These individuals have achieved success within their organizations through professionalism, hard work, dedication, and remarkable abilities. They are shining stars, examples for others and exemplary representatives of our industry. The awards are presented and managed by the association's Marketing and Communications committee and the Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG).
Nomination Criteria
A strong nominee is someone who has…
- Made remarkable contributions within the auto care industry
- Achieved success within their organizations through professionalism, hard work, dedication, and remarkable abilities
- Consistently been an example for others and is an exemplary representative for our industry
- An Auto Care Association member (if your company is a member, you are a member!)
Who Can Nominate?
You can nominate anyone under the age of 40 or you may self-nominate. The nomination form asks for a few simple details, and our staff will reach out to the nominee to solicit more information directly from the nominee.
Who are the Judges?
The Auto Care Association Marketing and Communications Committee, the YANG Chair and Vice Chair, Chairs and Vice Chairs of Auto Care Association Committees, the Board of Directors, and former Impact Award winners are invited to judge and vote entries.
Announcements and Recognition
Winners will be notified in January. Award recipients receive recognition at Auto Care Connect in front of nearly 1,000 automotive aftermarket executives and promotion across the association website, member newsletters to over 10,000 readers, social media, Auto Care Insider Magazine as well as industry media. Recipients are also featured at AAPEX and in the Auto Care ON AIR Podcast.
Once you're a recipient, you're a recipient for the lifetime of your career. Professionals may be nominated multiple times but the award can only be garnered once during your career.
