The Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference, Innovate and Impact, was a resounding success, offering attendees a transformative experience filled with insightful sessions, networking opportunities, and impactful activities. Diverse sessions and activities throughout the conference focused on personal and professional development, including insightful panels, industry trends, and leadership stories.

Share your expertise on stage at the Annual Leadership Conference!

Are you passionate about this industry? Do you have insights, ideas or expertise you would like to share with your fellow Women in Auto Care community members? Submit a proposal to participate on stage at the event! There are two ways to submit.

Are you passionate about this industry? Do you have insights, ideas or expertise you would like to share with your fellow Women in Auto Care community members? The 2025 Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference is looking to provide a platform for community members to share their knowledge, thought-provoking ideas and best practices. The types of content being considered for this call for content include:

Lightning Talks: Lightning talks are fast-paced presentations (7-8 minutes in length) with a focused topic and/or message. The overarching theme for this year’s lightning talks is around retaining talent & building teams. Some examples of Lightning Talks topics under this theme may be but are not limited to: the secret sauce to team building, actionable tips for employee retention, managing up, or engagement in a hybrid work environment.

Professional Development Presentation: 30, 45, or 60 minute presentation on a professional development topic relevant to Women in Auto Care community professionals. Examples may include but are NOT limited to: positioning yourself for the next step in your career, the new rules of email, texting, etc. professionally, mastering public speaking, the way AI is being used today and/or in future vehicles, etc. Make your case for your topic and why it matters!

Facilitated Discussion: Small group, roundtable-style format where you as a moderator lead a group discussion around a thought-provoking topic, facilitate a discussion on sharing best practices, etc.

Other: Another way you’d like to share your content not included here? We want to hear your ideas. IMPORTANT NOTE: WE ASK THAT YOUR PLEASE NOT SUBMIT Panel Discussions here. Interested in being part of a panel, contact womeninautocare@autocare.org for more information.

Criteria for EligibilityTo be considered for this call for content, you must be a member of the Women in Auto Care community. Additionally, if selected you must be available to present your session or talk in person in Atlanta, GA on Wednesday, February 19th or Thursday, February 20th, 2025. Please Note: Sales pitches for products or services will not be considered.

Women in Auto Care is continuing its successful speaker mentorship program for the 2025 conference with even more resources than ever before! The aim is to support Women in Auto Care community professionals translate their skills, knowledge, and expertise into an engaging presentation to share with the community at the annual Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference.

The selected Women in Auto Care professional will present an up to 25-minute session on a topic of their choice at the conference in Atlanta, GA from February 19th - 20, 2025. 

Through the speaker mentorship program, the selected applicant will receive mentorship support in developing and creating an up to 25-minute presentation for the conference. This will include:

A Micro-Mentor: A speaking “micro-mentor” to help support the recipient along their journey

Presentation Development Sessions: 3-4 presentation development session to help the recipient conceptualize, build and prepare to deliver their presentation (i.e. building a presentation outline, creating a slide deck, tips on presenting to an audience, etc)

Additional Resources: Additional resources to support the recipient in building their presentation skills.

2024 Women in Auto Care Leadership Conference Recap

Each attendee received a personalized DISC Assessment, a framework for collaborative brainstorming, actionable tips for crucial conversation, tips and tricks for using AI to become more efficient and 100 personal AI headshots. Each participant received a specially curated notebook filled with key takeaways. This tangible resource ensures that the lessons learned, and connections made during the conference were not only memorable but also serve as a valuable reference in the future.

The return of Zan, the auctioneer and DJ Jungle Jessi led to another record-breaking year “Party with a Purpose” charity auction gala, raising $84,500 for the Women in Auto Care scholarship program.

Overall, the conference provided attendees with the tools, insights, and connections necessary to drive innovation and make a meaningful impact in the automotive aftermarket industry, while also supporting a worthy cause through the “Party with a Purpose” charity auction gala.
