Women in Auto Care organizes and hosts a variety of events which help to further our mission of connecting, empowering and mentoring young women within the auto care industry.
Our annual leadership conferences are designed to foster both personal and professional development. These conferences provide attendees with dynamic speakers and workshops, tools and resources for career growth and networking with like-minded peers. All attendees are eligible to receive continuing education units (CEU) credits toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) professional designations. Our conferences have been accredited by Northwood University since 2012.
Women in Auto Care also hosts two monthly online events: our Mentoring Mixer, hosted every second Thursday and our Bookish Club, hosted every last Thursday. These events feature guided conversations in a casual environment, with a goal of providing opportunity for our members to network with and learn from one another from the comfort of their homes.
Book Club: Just Work by Kim Scott
Hosted by Kathleen Long
Let's read this amazing book: Just Work by Kim Scott
Then, let's meet to inspire and engage each other around what we have read and discuss our leadership journeys. Let's also discuss our role as changemakers and how we want to work to improve our industry and world.
