Auto Care Association’s Lisa Foshee, Missy Stephens Named 2025 Women at the Wheel Honorees

BETHESDA, Md. – June 16, 2025 – The Auto Care Association is proud to recognize
two of its team members, Lisa Foshee and Missy Stephens, for being named among the 2025 “Women at the Wheel” by AftermarketNews. This annual award honors women in the automotive aftermarket who are making lasting contributions to the industry and helping to shape its future.
Lisa Foshee, senior vice president, government affairs, Auto Care Association, and Missy Stephens, manager, community engagement, Auto Care Association, were selected for their outstanding leadership, dedication and influence across the aftermarket.
Lisa Foshee has built a respected career advocating for the auto care industry on Capitol Hill and within regulatory agencies. With a robust legal background, Foshee leads the association’s legislative and regulatory efforts, including advocating with legislators on issues vital to Auto Care Association members. Her leadership in championing Right to Repair and her recent work on the reintroduction of the REPAIR Act have positioned her as a key voice for consumer rights and industry innovation. Prior to joining the association, she served at AT&T, representing its Internet of Things group and advising the company on antitrust and regulatory matters. Foshee’s strategic insights and legal expertise have helped advance the association’s legislative priorities and empowered industry advocates nationwide.
Missy Stephens has dedicated more than 25 years to the aftermarket, beginning in the field and rising into leadership through her passion for community building and engagement. She plays a pivotal role in the Women in Auto Care community, supporting initiatives around sponsorships, scholarships, awards, mentoring, virtual events and the community’s annual conference. Under her guidance, the Women in Auto Care scholarship program has awarded nearly $2.5 million in scholarships and starter tool sets to female students pursuing careers in the industry. A firm believer in mentorship, networking and self-advocacy, Stephens encourages women in the industry to take charge of their career growth. Her work supports a more inclusive industry culture and fosters stronger connections among professionals.
