2021 Call for Applications: Board of Directors

Application Deadline: Thursday, March 5, 2021 

The Auto Care Association protects and advances the interests of businesses providing aftermarket products and services for all classes of motor vehicles. We are the voice of the $405 billion plus automobile aftermarket industry; providing advocacy, education, networking, technology, market intelligence and communications resources to serve the collective interests of our members.

The Auto Care Association’s Nominating Committee will be accepting applications from qualified members to serve on our board of directors. The board is composed of senior-level executives who have demonstrated a commitment to upholding the mission and goals of the association.

Qualifications: Potential candidates must be an actively employed executive leader of an Auto Care Association member company, who has participated in the association’s committees/communities, preferably in a leadership position. Potential candidates must commit to a three-year term and no two individuals from the same company may serve on the board concurrently.  

Expectations: Candidates must remain actively engaged with our standing committees and communities, attend four board meetings per year and support the Auto Care Political Action Committee (ACPAC).

Timeline: Following the March 5, 2021 deadline, the Nominating Committee will review all submissions and conduct interviews of selected candidates. The board term start date is July 1, 2021.
