How did you get your start at the Auto Care Association?
This is my first job after graduation, and I’m really glad I made the decision to join the Auto Care Association family. What are your work duties at the association? Can you describe a typical day?
I support my colleagues with all things data and research. On a typical day, I work on collecting, cleaning, and processing data, analyzing both quantitative and qualitative information, and creating visualizations that help tell the story behind the numbers. I also contribute to projects like the production of our annual Factbook. I really enjoy collaborating with the team to turn data into insights that support our members and the industry. Where did you go to college? What did you study?
I went to Georgetown University, where I earned my master’s degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics. What is your favorite part about working at the association? What are the biggest rewards?
The most rewarding part of my work is knowing that the information I help produce supports our members in making real-life business decisions. It’s encouraging to see how our data and insights have a practical impact. My favorite part about working at the association is the incredible mentorship and support I receive from my team. We have close interactions across departments, and people truly recognize and appreciate each other’s contributions.
What unique qualities do you feel you bring to the Auto Care Association?
I bring my background in economics, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail to the Auto Care Association. My training helps me look at data from both a big-picture and detailed perspective, so I can spot trends and patterns while making sure the numbers are accurate and meaningful. I enjoy turning complex data into clear, useful insights that support our members and the industry. What are your long-range professional goals for both you and the Auto Care Association?
I look forward to challenging myself as the Auto Care Association grows and contributing to its success. I hope to support the association’s mission by turning data into actionable intelligence that drives decisions and strengthens the value we provide to our members.Tell us about your life outside of work (family, hobbies, home, etc.).
Outside of work, I love traveling and exploring different cultures, especially through trying new foods. One place I’m really hoping to visit soon is the Dolomites. I’m also passionate about learning languages (currently working on my French) and I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, kayaking, or simply discovering new places.
