Nominations Now Open for 2026 Women in Auto Care Awards Honoring Excellence, Leadership, Advocacy Across the Automotive Aftermarket

Women in Auto Care Community logoBETHESDA, Md. – June 2, 2026 – Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, is now accepting  nominations for its annual Women in Auto Care Awards. The Women in Auto Care Awards celebrate leadership, achievement and advocacy, honoring individuals and organizations whose contributions make a lasting impact on the industry. 

The Women in Auto Care Awards are presented in the following categories: 


  • Women of Excellence: Recognizing rising stars in the automotive aftermarket who are making significant contributions early in their careers and demonstrating leadership, commitment and a passion for advancing women in the industry. 
  • Outstanding Leadership: Honoring professionals who exemplify exceptional leadership, influence and ongoing contributions to both the industry and the Women in Auto Care community. 
  • Lifetime Achievement: Celebrating women who have made significant and lasting contributions to the automotive aftermarket throughout their careers and who serve as leaders, mentors and role models. 
  • Female Shop Owner of the Year: Recognizing an exceptional shop owner who demonstrates strong leadership, business excellence and a commitment to advancing women within the service segment. 
  • Company Ally of the Year: Awarded to a company that actively supports and advances women in the workplace through leadership, programming, culture and advocacy. 
  • Champion of the Year: Honoring an individual who goes above and beyond to support the Women in Auto Care community through volunteerism, mentorship and engagement.  

“As the Women in Auto Care Awards continue to grow, so do the energy and excitement surrounding this celebration of our industry,” said Missy Stephens, manager, community engagement, Auto Care Association. “Each year, we see more nominations, more remarkable stories and more support from across the aftermarket. The response has been so incredible that we’ve had to expand our venue to accommodate what is shaping up to be another record-breaking breakfast. It’s a powerful reminder of how far we’ve come—and the momentum we continue to build together.” 


Industry professionals are encouraged to submit nominations and help shine a spotlight on those making a difference in the automotive aftermarket. 


Award recipients will be recognized at the Women in Auto Care Awards Breakfast at AAPEX, taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2026, where industry leaders will gather to celebrate this year’s honorees.
