YANG to Host Its Largest Regional Meet-Up Event at AAPEX 2023
By Zoi' Holloway
“AAPEX is the most encompassing picture of our industry that we get throughout the year, and thanks to the kindness of the Automotive Parts Services Group, it is also the largest gathering that YANG is able to have as well. We are truly excited to see such a large portion of our industry’s next generation come together in Vegas to connect!” - Grace Hovis, YANG Chair
One of the primary benefits of attending AAPEX is networking, which is one of YANG’s guiding principles. The YANG community prioritizes providing opportunities for young professionals in the auto care industry to exchange information, contacts and experiences for both professional and social engagement.
The YANG Reception at AAPEX is open to all YANG community members and YANG mentors. Attendees must register for the event by Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2023, and will be required to show their AAPEX/SEMA badges and registration confirmation for entry. Learn more about this event and to register, visit autocare.org/yang.
The YANG Reception at AAPEX is generously sponsored and hosted by The Group – Automotive Parts Services Group.

YANG Gives Back Launches at AAPEX 2023!
The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), an Auto Care Association community of young industry professionals, raises monies each year in support of the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) through a nationwide fundraiser.
This year, YANG launched a new t-shirt fundraising campaign, #YANGGivesBack to encourage donors to support the automotive aftermarket industry.
For a small $20 donation to AACF, contributors will receive an exclusive edition ‘Gear Up to Give Back’ t-shirt. The official kick-off takes place at the 2023 AAPEX Industry Week in Las Vegas. Shirts can be picked up only on-site. No delivery option.
This charity fundraiser will run year-round. T-shirt distribution will be available at multiple Auto Care Association in-person events throughout the year and at select YANG regional Meet-Up locations.
“This year YANG is excited to “Gear Up to Give Back” to the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation through our t-shirt fundraiser that will be kicked off at AAPEX! As young developing industry leaders, the YANG community recognizes the need to support the industry that provides for us by supporting the people in it who find themselves in need. We are proud to be able to contribute once again to this worthy cause and hope that our industry peers will gear up with us in some YANG swag to help us in this endeavor!” - Grace Hovis, YANG Chair
AACF provides support to members of the automotive aftermarket industry during the global pandemic including resources, guidance, financial support and more to those in need.
