Women in Auto Care Launches International Women’s Day Kit Initiative Across Automotive Aftermarket
Women in Auto Care launches in-person and digital celebration kits for International Women’s Day, encouraging auto care industry companies to highlight the impact of females across the industry on March 6–8.
BETHESDA, Md. – March 6, 2026 – Women in Auto Care, a community of the Auto Care Association, today proudly announced the launch of its 2026 International Women’s Day initiative. To mark the annual holiday recognized around the world, the Women in Auto Care community shipped nearly 50 celebration kits to companies across the automotive aftermarket to help them recognize and honor women within their organizations. The community’s initiative was created to make celebrating International Women’s Day both meaningful and turnkey for companies of all sizes. Each kit includes co-branded materials and engagement items designed to support on-site celebrations, team recognition moments and internal events that spotlight the women who power the industry every day.
“International Women’s Day is more than a date on the calendar,” said Missy Stephens, community engagement manager, Women in Auto Care. “It is a chance for our industry to visibly celebrate the leadership, talent and impact of women across every segment of the aftermarket. By providing these kits, we’re helping companies create moments that are intentional, energizing and aligned with our mission to engage, educate and empower.”
Digital booth toolkits
In addition to the physical kits, Women in Auto Care is inviting the entire auto care industry to participate in a digital
activation through its co-branded International Women’s Day photo booth, powered by Snapbar. From March 6–8, women and allies are encouraged to access the digital booth, create a Women in Auto Care and International Women’s Day cobranded photo and share it on social media to amplify the celebration across the aftermarket.
The goal of this initiative is to create a unified wave of recognition online and on site, connecting individual company celebrations into a broader industry movement
Women in Auto Care encourages participants to share their digital photo booth images on social media between March 6 – 8 and to tag Women in Auto Care to help spotlight the collective impact of women throughout the automotive aftermarket.
