ACC Logo_CMYKBETHESDA, Md. – Feb. 27, 2026 – The Automotive Communications Council (ACC), a community of the Auto Care Association, is proud to announce the launch of the ACC Scholarship, created in partnership with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF). The ACC has committed $5,000 this year in support of the scholarship program for the next two years to help expand the scholarship fund and to provide opportunities for students pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket industry.

The ACC Scholarship will award $2,500 per year to a student pursuing a career within the automotive aftermarket industry. Priority will be given to students at two-or four-year colleges with a course in marketing, public relations, journalism, advertising or a related field in the aftermarket.

“We’re proud and grateful to collaborate with the University of the Aftermarket Foundation to broaden opportunities for students pursuing careers in our industry,” said Leyla Sadd, chair, ACC. “Together, we’re supporting the next generation to bring in fresh perspectives and strong communication skills to keep the aftermarket moving forward.”

The ACC has always proudly supported the pursuit of education, providing a scholarship fund for a marketing or communications student with an interest in the automotive market.

The scholarship program is part of a centralized location for scholarships available to students looking to have a career in the automotive aftermarket and commercial vehicle industry. Over $900,000 scholarships will be awarded for the 2026-27 academic year to students enrolled in four-year and two-year colleges as well as ASE/NATEF-certified automotive, collision and heavy-duty/diesel post-secondary programs. Students are considered for hundreds of scholarship opportunities from over 40 different organizations by filling out just one application.

Applications for the ACC Scholarship are open now through March 31, 2026. Eligible students can learn more and apply by visiting https://automotivescholarships.com/scholarships/automotive-communication-council.
