YANG to Host Largest Regional Meet-Up at AAPEX 2024 and Continue #YANGGivesBack Charity Campaign
September 27, 2024
BETHESDA, Md. – September 27, 2024 – The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of the Auto Care Association geared toward the under-40 industry professional, is coming back to Las Vegas, Nev., for the 2024 Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) show and will host its largest and most-anticipated YANG Regional Meet-Up to date. On Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 9 p.m. to midnight, the YANG community will gather at the Palazzo Ballroom, located in the Palazzo Tower of The Venetian Resort, just down the hall from the AAPEX show floor. YANG members and mentors can enjoy a full bar, appetizers and giveaways.
“AAPEX is the largest gathering of our automotive professionals in the country, and it only makes sense that YANG also has their largest event of the year,” said YANG Chair Matt Fowler. “We want to give a huge shoutout to the Automotive Parts Services Group, who has so graciously hosted us once again to gather for an incredible networking event. We are stoked to host the largest under-40 meetup in the Automotive Industry this year in Las Vegas!”
One of the primary benefits of attending AAPEX is networking, which is one of YANG’s guiding principles. The YANG community prioritizes providing opportunities for young professionals in the auto care industry to exchange information, contacts and experiences for both professional and social engagement.
The YANG Reception at AAPEX is open to all YANG community members and YANG mentors. Attendees must register for the event by Friday, Oct. 11, 2024, and will be required to show their AAPEX/SEMA badges and YANG registration confirmation for entry.

#YANGGivesBack Campaign Returns at AAPEX 2024
Continuing its dedication to philanthropy, YANG will also host its #YANGGivesBack campaign during AAPEX 2024, supporting the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). Launched last year, this annual t-shirt fundraiser encourages donations to support those in the automotive aftermarket industry facing financial hardships.
For a $20 donation to AACF, contributors receive an exclusive-edition ‘Gear Up to Give Back’ t-shirt. T-shirts will only be available for pick-up on-site at AAPEX and at select YANG regional events throughout the year. Proceeds from this campaign will go toward supporting industry members in need, and YANG hopes to surpass last year's donation of nearly $10,000.
"This year YANG is excited to continue our “Gear Up to Give Back” charity campaign for the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). Last year we were able to donate nearly $10,000 to the AACF and we hope to smash that goal during our 2024-2025 season,” said Matt Fowler, YANG Chair. “As young developing industry leaders, the YANG community recognizes the need to support the industry that provides for us by supporting the people in it who find themselves in need. This year we will once again be selling our custom "YANG Gear Up to Give Back" T-shirts and we hope to use our largest meeting at AAPEX to really help raise money for this awesome cause."
AACF provides support to members of the automotive aftermarket industry during crisis including resources, guidance, financial support and more to those in need.
