AWDA Becomes Premier Sponsor for University of the Aftermarket’s ‘Celebrate Mort’ Event in Las Vegas

BETHESDA, Md. – May 24, 2024 – The Aftermarket Warehouse Distributors AssociationAWDA Community logo (AWDA), a community of the Auto Care Association today announced its role as the premier sponsor for the University of the Aftermarket Foundation’s (UAF) “Celebrate Mort” event. The event will honor Mort Schwartz’s 90th birthday and support the future of the aftermarket by funding educational programs as well as scholarships for future industry professionals. 

The UAF’s “Celebrate Mort” event will be held on Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at The Venetian Las Vegas. AWDA, a proud Diamond Lifetime Trustee of the Foundation and one of its founders, has secured the premier supporter spot with a generous $50,000 donation. To Celebrate Mort, anyone can join for a special event in Las Vegas by making a tax-deductible donation of $1,000 to UAF to support Mort’s vision. To donate and RSVP, text “MORT” to 53-555. All donations count toward Lifetime Donor status.
