National Coffee Day - Join YANG in Fueling the Future

by Mary Ieng, Community Engagement Manger, Auto Care Association

YANG is teaming up with MEMA's MiX Council in an exciting social movement in support of the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF)'s Coffee Club! The UAF Coffee Club generously helps fund scholarship and educational programs for the next generation of aftermarket professionals. Since 1986, UAF has provided funding for aftermarket education programs and research.

In celebration of National Coffee Day on Sept. 29, we are running a Tag Challenge to help boost efforts in supporting the UAF Coffee Club donor program, which is available year-round. Join us in giving, collaborating and celebrating generosity 'one cup at a time'!

Help us share and inspire others to give - anyone can help support!  Invite your colleagues, friends, family and community to skip one cup of coffee and donate that cost monthly to this movement!

How you can get involved:
  • Consider donating your cost of coffee and post on LinkedIn with a photo/statement tagging three peers to take on the challenge by September 29! Don't forget to hashtag #FuelFuture.
  • Each tag grows the movement and spreads awareness for the UAF Coffee Club mission!

How to donate:
  • Show your support by making a recurring donation by clicking here: https://givebutter.com/LEtvI5
  • Donations start at just $5/month
  • Click the button below OR simply text FUELFUTURE to 53-555 to support the UAF Coffee Club!
  • Already a donor? Consider sharing this message along to others or even bump up your donor level!
Why give?
  • This tag challenge raises vital funds essential to helping provide valuable scholarships that fuel the future of the aftermarket.
  • Your contribution will help provide educational opportunities to the next generation of industry professionals.
Know someone interested in the scholarships?
Over $800,000 of scholarships will be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year to students enrolled in four-year and two-year colleges as well as ASE/NATEF certified automotive, collision and heavy-duty/diesel post-secondary programs.

Applications open starting September on the Aftermarket Scholarship Central website.
