Advocacy on the Road: Visiting Global Parts Distributors in Macon, Georgia

The Auto Care Association's Government Affairs team took its show on the road this week, stopping in Macon, Georgia to sit down with the team at Global Parts Distributors, LLC (GPD).
SVP of Government Affairs and General Counsel Lisa Foshee and Director of State Affairs and Grassroots Programs Donovan Ringo made the trip to discuss the Association's state legislative priorities and the growing grassroots advocacy program. Conversations like this one are exactly what the program is built for.
Getting face time with members where they work, hearing what's on their radar, and making sure their voice is connected to what's happening in state capitals.
GPD is a leading national brand of aftermarket automotive air conditioning and heat exchange products, serving customers from heavy-duty applications to late-model cars and trucks. Based in Macon, GPD brings serious aftermarket reach and a strong commitment to empowering repair professionals to compete in today's market.
These visits inform how the Association prioritizes its advocacy work. Members like GPD are on the front lines of the issues we fight for every day: parts access, repair data, and workforce development.
