Jamie Carlson is the co-owner of Ervine's Auto Repair & Grand Rapids Hybrid and EV in Grand Rapids, Michigan. A passionate and respected leader in the automotive repair industry, Jamie is driven by two guiding principles: delivering peace of mind to motorists and elevating the status of automotive professionals.

At the heart of her work is a commitment to providing a trusted, judgment-free space for all customers—whether they’re automotive experts or unsure how to pop the hood. Jamie ensures her team always puts the customer’s best interests first, offering dependable service built on integrity and professionalism.

Equally committed to the people behind the scenes, Jamie is focused on recruiting and retaining top talent. She fosters an environment of continuous growth by supporting professional development and creating meaningful opportunities for career advancement.

Jamie's dedication has earned industry-wide recognition. Her shop received the ACE (Auto Care Career and Education) Award in 2018 for its investment in employee development. She was named Female Shop Owner of the Year by Women in Auto Care in 2019, and alongside her husband, Eric, was honored as the AAPEX Shop Owners of the Year in 2021.

She is also helping shape the future of the industry through mentorship and leadership. Jamie works closely with her daughter, Megan Dineff—a standout in her own right. Megan’s accolades include being a 2019 Ratchet + Wrench All-Star, recipient of the 2020 Auto Care Association's 4 For the Future Impact Award, Women in Auto Care’s 2022 Female Shop Team Member of the Year, and most recently, Babcox Media’s Vehicle Care Rockstar Award.

Jamie serves on the Women in Auto Care Council’s scholarship committee, contributing to the development of future talent. She also co-hosts the Female Shop Owner Connection Circle, a collaborative space for women leaders in the automotive repair industry.

Grateful for the career and community she’s built, Jamie remains deeply committed to giving back to an industry that has given her a job she loves—and a team she’s proud to lead.
