Mentor Interview

by Zoi' Holloway

YANG was excited to announce the kick-off of our inaugural Mentor Program! The YANG council and especially the Engagement Sub-Committee recognized a need for structured mentorship within our community. Jacki Lutz, Meagan Moody, and Kenny Bridges took it upon themselves to form a team, survey our membership, create a pilot program, recruit mentors and mentees, and develop a strong mentorship program. The program launched in January with 65 YANG members and 13 YANG mentors making up our first mentor circles. Don’t feel bad if you missed out on the inaugural mentor program. The hope is that this program refreshes after each calendar year and continues to grow.

Special thank you to the Engagement Sub-Committee: Jacki Lutz, Meagan Moody, Kenny Bridges, Sheonny Harrell, Chris Hill, Jacqueline Rodriguez, and Miles Musselman

And a huge thank you to our Mentors: Robert Roos, John Hanighen, Steffanie Savine-Martin, Dwayne Meyers, John R Washbish, Skip West, Bill Hanvey, Tammy Tecklenburg, Todd Campau, Kim Nolan, Andrew Steczo, Michael Rukov, and Mike DelaCruz (pictured below).
