Workforce Pell - The Department of Education released final metrics for evaluating workforce pell programs, focused on realized earnings.

Los Angeles County Household Hazardous Waste EPR - The County of Los Angeles issued a draft ordinance that would establish an EPR program for household hazardous waste products, not packaging. Comments are due July 17, 2026.

Hydrofluoric Acid - California proposes to ban cleaning products that contain hydrofluoric acid, excluding inventory existing at the effective date of the rule. Comments are due July 20, 2026.

Draft Risk Assessments for 1,2- DCP, 1,1,2-TCA, tDCE, TBBPA, and EDB - EPA announced a science advisory board meeting on draft risk assessments for 1,2- DCP, 1,1,2-TCA, tDCE, TBBPA, and EDB. Those wishing to speak at the public meeting on July 23 must register prior to July 15 and those wishing to speak at the peer review meeting in early August must register prior to July 27. Written comments are due July 23, 2026.

Minnesota EPR - Minnesota requests early comments as they develop their EPR regulations. Comments are due July 24, 2026.

Rear Automatic Braking Systems - NTHSA proposes to add rear automatic braking assessments to the new car assessment program. Comments are due July 27, 2026.

FMVSS 135 for ADS - NHTSA proposes to adjust FMVSS 135 for Light vehicle break systems to accommodate ADS-equipped vehicles without traditional brake pedals. Comments are due July 27, 2026.

SEC Climate Disclosure - The SEC proposes to rescind Biden administration rules that required climate-related disclosures from public companies. Comments are due Aug. 3, 2026.

Workforce Resource Modernization - The Department of Labor is seeking input on modernizing two workforce development resources: CareerOneStop.org and the Occupational Information Network (O*NET) Program. Comments are welcome on any aspect of the resources, with a specific focus on modernizing the programs. Comments are due Aug. 10, 2026.

American Automobile Labeling Act - NHTSA is renewing an information collection request that asks for auto manufacturer information regarding compliance with the American Automobile Labeling Act, which requires labels with information on foreign parts content. Comments are due Aug. 10, 2026.
