
Receiver's Choice Awards

About the Award
The Receiver’s Choice award recognizes organizations that are supplying high quality content including ACES®, PIES®, digital assets and other customer specific formats. Honorees are selected by content receivers who support ACPN for their exemplary content and are leading the way in completeness, accuracy, delivery, communication and other proprietary specific judging criteria.
Eligibility
- Company Type: Manufacturer/Remanufacturer
- Company Membership: Auto Care Association member in good standing
- Subscription Status: Must have active VCdb and
PAdb subscriptions.

- Conference Attendance: Must have at least one representative from your company present at the upcoming Annual Auto Care Connect conference to receive the award.

Judging
These awards are judged by participating content receiver companies utilizing the judging guidelines outlined below and potentially additional criteria that is specific to the way they conduct business.

- Please contact your content receiver to see if they are participating in this year’s receiver’s choice award ceremony at the annual Auto Care Connect conference to be considered for this award.

Judging Guidelines
If the eligibility requirements listed above are met 100% for the award submission, the following minimum judging guidelines, which were established by the ACPN Leadership Council and agreed to by the Data Receivers participating in the award, are utilized to judge. Note that many of the Data Receivers have additional criteria that is specific to the way they conduct business to determine their winners. Participating data receivers must be current users of the ACES and/or PIES data standards, and have active subscriptions to the VCdb and PAdb.
- All part numbers that require fitment data have applications communicated in ACES.
- All part numbers are communicated in PIES® and have robust marketing information, product attribute information, and digital assets.
- All part numbers have receiver specific data requirements met.
- The supplier assumes responsibility for the data provided by a third-party company if used.
- ACES and PIES specifications are consistently adhered to. (XSD and Non-XSD rules)
- Stays current with ACES and PIES reference database versions.
- Data provided for a part number accurately represents the part number.
- Part numbers in ACES and PIES are accurately mapped to proper BrandID's/SubBrandID's from the Brand Table and Part Terminologies from the PCdb.
- ACES fitment notes and MfrLabels do not repeat values already identified within other designated fields of the ACES standard, such as VehicleID, PartTerminologyID, and all VCdb vehicle attributes.
- ACES fitment notes and MfrLabels do not conflict with values already identified within other designated fields of the ACES standard, such as VehicleID, PartTerminologyID, and all VCdb vehicle attributes.
- No ACES Application overlaps or duplicates.
- No PIES Item duplicates.
- Meets Data Receiver's requirements for data delivery deadlines.
- Provides data in the ACES and PIES format.
- Delivers new and updated data on a consistent cadence.
- Digital Asset files are delivered at the same time as their corresponding PIES files.
- Fosters a partnership with the data receiver through good communication.
- Resolves data issues in a timely manner.
