Who We Are
The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, is a professional network with 380+ individual members employed in the automotive industry. It is the only community devoted exclusively to the education and professional development needs of the automotive content management professional.

What We Do
ACPN serves as the leader in content management and related activities; promotes industry technology standards; and provides a forum for discussing and promoting best practices within the automotive industry all of which will culminate in their annual Knowledge Exchange conference.

    The annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange conference is the largest gathering of content professionals and their vendors and solution partners. 

    Attended by most major manufacturers, distributors and parts experts in the automotive content space, the ACPN conference provides a focused and unique opportunity to learn, share best practices, network with peers, and interact with service providers in the content management space.   • ACPN Content Excellence Awards

    There are four total ACPN Content Excellence Awards. The first three awards recognize the best examples of print and electronic cataloging in the vehicle aftermarket. Each year, winners are chosen from dozens of entries and are recognized at the Annual  ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference, based on pre-defined criteria. The awards are presented in the following categories:

    • Paper Catalogs
    • Web-Based Catalogs
    • ACES and PIES Data

    The fourth Content Excellence Award, which is presented at the Annual  ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference, is:

    • Receiver's Choice

    The Receiver's Choice Award recognizes organizations that are supplying high quality content including ACES, PIES, digital assets and other customer specific formats. Honorees are selected by data receivers who support ACPN for their exemplary content and are leading the way in integrity, accuracy, timeliness, completeness, best practices and other proprietary judging criteria.

    To be considered for this award and for more information, please contact your data receivers to see if they are participating in this year’s receiver's choice award ceremony at the Annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference as well as what their specific criteria is as a company.

  • ACPN scholarship

    The Automotive Content Professional Network Committee (ACPN) will award three (3) deserving content professionals with a scholarship to attend the  2019 Annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange conference. This is the largest gathering of catalog professionals and their vendors and solution providers.

    This conference is attended by most major manufacturers, distributors and parts experts in the automotive content industry The ACPN conference provides a focused and unique opportunity to learn, share best practices, network with peers, and interact with service providers in the content management space. During the ACPN Knowledge Exchange, catalog managers can learn how to develop more accurate catalogs, gain insights on more efficient production processes and become aware of new technology and techniques, which will ultimately help them and their companies:

  • ACP designation

    The Automotive Content Professionals Network's (ACP) designation program codifies and accurately defines the skills and experiences to become a professional content manager. It denotes a path that professionals can follow in order to develop the skills, contacts, and knowledge that define today's content-management professional.

    The Automotive Content Professional (ACP) designation program was created through a special partnership with the University of the Aftermarket (Northwood University). This program codifies and accurately defines the skills and experiences to become a professional content manager. It denotes a path that professionals can follow in order to develop the skills, contacts, and knowledge that define today's content-management professional.

    The ACP designation is awarded each year at a ceremony at the  annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange conference.
