Auto Care Association Hosts Successful Trade Mission to Costa Rica

BETHESDA, Md. – May 29, 2018 – The Auto Care Association hosted a trade mission to Costa Rica, May 21-22, as part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award from the U.S. Department of Commerce. The association received the award to help the automotive industry increase exports to free trade agreement partners in Latin America.

Auto Care Association and California Automotive Wholesalers' Association to Host Webinar on California’s New Proposition 65 Regulations

Auto Care Association Testifies Before United States Trade Representative on Section 301 China Tariffs

BETHESDA, Md. – May 15, 2018 – Today, the Auto Care Association’s Aaron Lowe, senior vice president, government and regulatory affairs, testified before the Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) on the anticipated negative effects of the Trump administration's Section 301 tariffs on automotive parts and components imported from China. The tariffs are part of a proposed action by the administration to address unfair acts, policies and practices by China that are related to technology transfer, intellectual property and innovation.

Auto Care Association Welcomes the Filter Manufacturers Community as Newest Members

BETHESDA, Md. – May 11, 2018 – The Auto Care Association today announced the addition of a new community to its membership with the introduction of the Filter Manufacturers Community (FMC). The group will join 10 additional auto care communities currently represented by the association. The formal announcement was made at the Auto Care Association’s annual Spring Leadership Days event, which took place May 9-11 at the Marriott Marquis in Atlanta.

BETHESDA, Md. – May 7, 2018 – The Auto Care Association today announced it is accepting nominations for the 2018 “Impact Award: Four for the Future.” The annual award recognizes four aftermarket professionals aged 40 or younger who have made outstanding contributions to the auto care industry. The recipients will be awarded at Auto Care Association’s 2018 Fall Leadership Days, taking place Sept. 5 – 7, 2018, in Austin, Texas.
