2020 – The Auto Care Association announced it is extending the submission
deadline for the 2020 awards recognizing excellence in education. These awards
include the “Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award” and “Auto Care Career
& Education (ACE) Award.”

Today, the Auto Care Association announced the opening of its 2020 awards focusing on education, innovation and the next generation: the “Impact Award: Four for the Future,” Auto Care Career and Education (ACE) Award and Mort Schwartz Excellence in Education Award.

Effective Jan. 1, 2020, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) will implement a new mandatory requirement to reduce sulfur oxide emissions worldwide by 85%. This is one of the largest reductions in sulfur content of transportation fuel taken at one time and one of the most dramatic fuel regulation changes ever implemented.

BETHESDA, Md. – August 21, 2018 – Auto Care Association has selected the 2018 recipients of the Auto Care Internship Grant. Thirteen students received scholarships of $2,500 to contribute to the costs of round-trip travel from their permanent address to the internship location, lodging, utilities and food.
