BETHESDA, Md. – December 13, 2018– The Automotive Content
Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, is now
accepting entries for the 2019 ACPN Content Excellence Awards. The award
ceremony will take place at the 46th
annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference on April 28 – May 1, 2019
in Tampa, Fla. at the Marriott Tampa Waterside Hotel.
The Content Excellence Awards
recognize the best examples of both print and electronic content and cataloging
in the auto care industry.
The Content Excellence Awards are
comprised of four categories:
Catalogs: physical paper catalogs;
Catalogs: catalog application lookup that is purely browser-based and does
not require any special client-side app to be installed;
- ACES and
PIES Data: recognizes excellent source data and adherence to XSD
Choice: Industry leading data receivers recognize organizations that are
supplying high quality content including ACES, PIES, digital assets and other
customer specific formats.
Interested participants and their
companies must register for and be present at the 2019 ACPN Knowledge Exchange
Conference to be considered for the awards. To be considered for the Receiver’s
Choice awards, please contact your data receiver(s) to see if they are
participating in this year’s Receiver’s Choice awards, and what their criteria
is. The deadline to submit for the Paper Catalogs, Web-Based Catalogs and ACES
and PIES Data categories is Jan. 25,
The 2018 Content Excellence award
winners included: VDO, MOOG, Bilstein, Gates Corporation, Motorcar Parts of
America, CARDONE Industries, K&N Engineering, Inc., Mann & Hummel,
Tenneco, Inc. and Spectra Premium. The 2018 Receiver’s Choice award winners
included: CARDONE Industries, Delphi, Motor Car Parts of America, East Penn and
Winhere Brake Parts, Inc.
All category winners will receive
a plaque and the ability to use the “ACPN Content Excellence Award Winner”
badge on their company literature, mobile apps. and websites. For more
