BETHESDA, Md. – May 7, 2018 – The Auto Care Association today announced it is accepting nominations for the 2018 “Impact Award: Four for the Future.” The annual award recognizes four aftermarket professionals aged 40 or younger who have made outstanding contributions to the auto care industry. The recipients will be awarded at Auto Care Association’s 2018 Fall Leadership Days, taking place Sept. 5 – 7, 2018, in Austin, Texas.

Young Auto Care Network Group Announces 2018 Next Step Program Scholarship Winners

BETHESDA, Md. – March 28, 2018 – The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of the Auto Care Association, has announced the winners of the 2018 Auto Care Association Next Step Program scholarship. Ten young industry professionals were selected to attend the Auto Care Association Spring Leadership Days event to gain experience and knowledge of the auto care industry. Scholarship recipients will receive up to $1,100 to offset most expenses for travel and accommodations to, from and during the event. The annual event brings together top auto care industry leaders and will take place May 9-11, 2018 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, Ga.

Auto Care Association Discusses Fueling Talent for the Future at National Association of Workforce Boards Conference

Women in Auto Care and AIA Canada Announce First Joint International Women’s Conference

BETHESDA, Md. – March 22, 2018 – Women in Auto Care, a global community of auto care professionals dedicated to achieving career advancement for women in the automotive aftermarket, and the Automotive Industries Association of Canada (AIA Canada) have joined together to announce the first-ever international women’s conference for auto care industry professionals. The 2018 Women’s Leadership Conference: Engage to Elevate will take place June 13-14, 2018, in Toronto, Canada at the Hyatt Regency Toronto.

Registration Now Open for 2018 Paint, Body and Equipment Specialists Conference

BETHESDA, Md. – March 13, 2018 – The Auto Care Association today announced it has opened registration for its 2018 Paint, Body and Equipment Specialists (PBES) Conference. The two-and-a-half day conference will be held on May 16-18 at the Fairmont Austin Hotel in Austin, Texas.

 

The PBES Conference is an annual educational event that brings together paint, body and equipment industry leaders of the automotive aftermarket. The 2018 conference will focus on the theme of “Leverage Disruption” and provide attendees with the latest educational resources and insights on how to leverage disruption to expand their businesses.

BETHESDA, Md. – March 7, 2018 – The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of the Auto Care Association, today announced it is accepting speaker applications for its new “Five for Five” rapid-fire style presentations feature of the 2018 YANG Leadership Conference. The annual conference is on May 11-12 in Atlanta, Ga.

The YANG Leadership Conference is catered to the under-40 group of young professionals in the auto care industry and provides a forum for attendees to enhance leadership skills, sharpen global perspective of the industry and develop new relationships with peers.

The Next Step program offers future leaders in the industry the opportunity to become involved in the industry and trade association by awarding scholarships to attend the Auto Care Association’s Spring Leadership Days, May 9-11, 2018 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia.
