Auto Care Association CEO Joins Washington Examiner Panel Discussion on Infrastructure

BETHESDA, Md. – February 16, 2018 –The Auto Care Association has joined the national conversation taking place as the Trump administration and Congress moved to accomplish the President’s next agenda item of an infrastructure spending bill. Yesterday, Auto Care Association President and CEO Bill Hanvey participated in the Washington Examiner’s “Examining Infrastructure” panel discussion, which featured opening remarks from Senator James Inhofe (R-Okla.) regarding the composition and prospects for a successful infrastructure bill during the current Congress, including options for funding infrastructure projects.

Auto Care Association Announces Webinar on Business Opportunities in Costa Rica

Young Auto Care Network Group Announces Schedule of Events for Q1 2018

Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN) Now Accepting Submissions for Annual Content Excellence Awards

BETHESDA, Md. – December 11, 2017– The Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN), a community of the Auto Care Association, today announced it is accepting entries for the ACPN Content Excellence Awards. The award ceremony will take place at the 45th annual ACPN Knowledge Exchange Conference on April 15 – 18, 2018 in Fort Worth, Texas at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel.

ACPN is a professional society comprised of company representatives engaged in the research, management, production and distribution of automotive content. The Content Excellence Awards recognize the best examples of print and electronic cataloging in the auto care industry.

Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG) Announces 2018 Leadership Conference Details

BETHESDA, Md. – December 6, 2017– The Young Auto Care Network Group (YANG), a community of the Auto Care Association, is hosting the 2018 YANG Leadership Conference, May 11-12 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, Atlanta, Ga. The conference takes place in conjunction with the Auto Care Association Spring Leadership Days event and is designed for young professionals under the age of 40 in the auto care industry. 

The conference provides seven hours of education designed to enhance leadership skills, to sharpen global perspective of the auto care industry and to develop relationships with peers. Attendees are eligible to receive CEU credits toward their AAP/MAAP designation from the University of the Aftermarket.

Auto Care Association Hosts Upcoming Webinar on Customer Experience Improvement

Auto Care Association Announces Details for 2018 Trade Mission to Costa Rica

BETHESDA, Md. – November 16, 2017 – The Auto Care Association has announced a new trade mission to Costa Rica on May 21 – 22, 2018 as part of the Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) award the association received from the U.S. Department of Commerce to support export promotion projects in Latin America. 

The Costa Rica trade mission is a business development opportunity designed to assist U.S. companies in the automotive industry with gaining first-hand market information and meeting with potential clients and partners, which are pre-screened to match participants’ specific business objectives.
