Auto Care Association CEO Bill Hanvey Presents at Jefferies Global Automotive Aftermarket Investor Conference

BETHESDA, MD – May 24, 2017 – Bill Hanvey, president and CEO, Auto Care Association, today briefed more than 300 representatives from the investment, manufacturing, distribution, technology and automotive service communities on the state of the auto care industry, key industry drivers and opportunities, and shared the association’s priority initiatives at the Jefferies Global Automotive Aftermarket Investor Conference at the Intercontinental Barclays in New York City. 

Hanvey detailed the challenges and opportunities of telematics and emerging technologies on the industry, and outlined the association’s action plan to secure direct access to vehicle data for the independent aftermarket. The initiative will include a technical solution, industry and consumer education and advocacy.
